Lots of members came out for the Spring Cleanup on Sunday April 3rd. In spite of a rainy forecast the day was gorgeous. The clear and calm conditions made installing the docks go smoothly in addition to so many helping hands. Good progress was made to position most of the headers and fingers for the start of the new season. Members of the ground crew took rakes in hand and did a great job of clearing the property of leaves, branches and debris. The social committee provided drinks and food for everyone in the pavillion where the Annual Spring Meeting was held following the work day. Great progress was made on positioning a major portion of the headers and fingers but there is still a bit more work to be done. Commodore, Rob Johnson proposes that a smaller number of volunteers (8 to 10) get together on Saturday April the 30th at 10:00 am to finish up the remaining work on the docks. Please let Rob know if you are able to help out.
